Karimnagar:
Former Andhra Pradesh minister and senior leader of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Muddasani Damoder Reddy, 56, passed away in Hyderabad this afternoon.
Mr Reddy, who was suffering from cancer, had been admitted to Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, where he breathed his last.
He is survived by his wife and a son. Mr Reddy hailed from Mamidalapally village of Veenavanka mandal and was a TDP legislator from Kamalapur Assembly segment four times.
He was made minister for three times and held the Mines and Geology, Transport and Youth Services portfolios at different times.
He was also the TDP district president and was known in the district as 'Tiger' Damoder Reddy. According to family sources, his cremation would take place tomorrow.
