Tea factory gutted

Kottayam: A cooperative tea manufacturing factory at Teekoy in Erattupettah in the district was completely gutted in a fire today, but no one was injured, police said

Fire engines from neighbouring Kanjirapally and Erattupettah doused the flames, they said.

Short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
