Chennai: A school teacher has been arrested after he allegedly made offensive remarks on a television show about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and another woman leader who belongs to the Congress.
The 45-year-old teacher, who is named Casmirraj, was reportedly arrested last night.
He participated in a call-in show that was debating the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils.
S Vijayatharani, a state legislator from the Congress, complained to the police that he had abused her.
