Bangalore: The South Western Railway announced that three trains had been cancelled and five were running late as a result of the collision between the Hampi express and a goods train at Anantpur district in Andhra Pradesh.
A Railway press release said that the Bangalore-Mysore Express, the Mysore-Yesvantpur Express and Hindupur-Guntakal Passenger have been cancelled for the day.
The Kacheguda-Bangalore Express, Nizamuddin-Bangalore Rajdhani Express, Mumbai(CST)-Bangalore Udyan Express, Machilipatnam-Yesvantpur Express and Bagalkot-Yesvantpur Basava Express were running late, the press release said.
25 passengers were killed and over 70 injured when the Bangalore-bound Hampi Express rammed into a stationary goods train in Anantapur district in the wee hours.
