Kannur:
Two more people died of their burn injuries at a hospital in Kannur on Thursday, taking the toll in the LPG tanker lorry explosion at nearby Chala to six.
Geetha and Remla, in their forties, with over 50 per cent burns died at Pariyaram Medical college hospital.
In all 35 people were injured when the tanker lorry overturned and exploded after hitting a road divider at Chala on Monday night. Out of these, the condition of 15 continued to be critical, police said.
Six houses, 15 shops and some vehicles were gutted in the explosion and the huge fire.
