Rajahmundry: East Godavari district Collector Neetu Prasad today said special measures will be taken for development of tourism spots in Rajahmundry and smooth conducting of Kakinada beach festival in November.
"There is every possibility for the development of tourism spots in the district and a comprehensive report on the four tourism spots here will be prepared and submitted to the government," Mr Prasad said during a meeting of the District Tourism Promotion Council.
"All steps have been taken for smooth conduction of Kakinada beach festival in November next," she added.
An awareness programme on the tourism spots will organised in the district in September.
"We have already sent a report to the state government for setting up Shilparammam in 7.5 acres and beach resorts on 14 acres of land in Kakinada," she said.
