Nagercoil: Union Minister of State Pon Radhakrishnan today flagged off a train service between Kanayakumari and Punalur, which was announced in the Railway Budget this year.
The train was flagged off at Kanyakumari railway station at 2:35 pm.
The train will reach Punalur via Nagercoil, Thirvananthapuram, Kollam, and Kottarakarai at 08:10 pm. In the return direction it will leave Punalur at 06.15 am and reach Kanyakumari at 1.05 pm, a release stated.
