Tuticorin: Three killed, one injured in car accident

Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu: Three persons were killed on the spot and one injured when their car capsized after ramming a barricade put up on the four lane road near the entrance of a private engineering college near Kovilpatti in Tuticorin district in Tamil Nadu early this morning.

Police said the occupants from Puducherry were proceeding to Tirunelveli to attend a wedding when the mishap occurred.

The car driver lost control of the vehicle as he was allegedly drunk, police said.
