Chennai:
In two separate arrests at the Chennai airport today, a woman was caught with 20 kg of ketamine while a 38-year-old man wanted in a murder case was nabbed on his arrival from the UAE.
The woman had hidden the banned drug, worth Rs 20 crore in the international market, inside her suitcase, airport sources said.
In the second incident, Jotheeswaran of Thanjavur district was arrested on his arrival at the airport early this morning.
Jotheeswaran is wanted in a three-year-old murder case and had gone absconding, they said, adding that immigration officials arrested him when he alighted from a Sharjah flight.
