Bangalore: Two persons, including a woman who reportedly forced poor girls of a minority community into prostitution after luring them with the offer of good jobs abroad have been arrested, police said.
One of the persons arrested is a Mumbai based woman and another is a Keralite passport agent living in Mumbai, police said in a statement.
The man has several agents in various places like Bangalore, Mysore, Chamarajnagar and in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and also some foreign countries, they said.
The woman was working for him in Karnataka and Mumbai, police added.
