Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu:
Two people today drowned in a pond in Keelapuliyour in Tirunelveli district this morning, police said.
Madankumar(16) and Muthumurali(16) went to the pond to take a bath this morning. They drowned in the pond because they did not know how to swim.
Police and fire service personnel retrieved the body of Madankumar and a search is on for the body of other person, police said.
