Erode:
Two persons sustained serious injuries when the roof of a bus stop collapsed at Punjai Pumiampatty yesterday, police said.
Police said the roof collapsed and fell on two persons waiting there for bus, injuring them. They were admitted to hospital.
On hearing the incident, about 50 persons conducted a road roko in Sathyamangalam-Coimbatore road demanding the municipal administration to construct a new bus shelter, police said.
