Two killed after lorry hits them

Salem: Two persons were killed when a potato laden lorry hit them while they were standing on the roadside and talking on their cellphones in Slaem's Omalur, police said.

The lorry coming to the city from Coimbatore, hit them after the driver lost control of the vehicle, they said. The driver and cleaner have been arrested.
