Chennai:
Two unattended bags created a flutter at the Chennai airport, prompting security officials to launch checks.
The bags were found near the parked car of Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, who was bound for Delhi from Madurai, airport sources said.
Bomb disposal squads of CISF took possession of the bags and a detailed examination revealed that one of them was a women's handbag while the other contained a laptop and a cellphone.
The handbag was later handed over to a woman claimant after a proper enquiry, the sources said, adding that the other bag was under the custody of security officials.
