Kochi: Veteran CPI-M leader VS Achuthanandan lashed out at the Kerala government on Sunday for not taking Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) and its adviser E Sreedharan into confidence with regard to the Rs 5000 crore Kochi Metro Rail LTD (KMRL) project.
Mr Achuthanandan alleged that government was playing 'hide-and-seek' on the project and was creating an 'uncertain situation'.
There is no clarity in the stand taken by chief minister Oommen Chandy on the role of DMRC in the project, he told reporters on the sidelines of a function in Kochi.
He wondered if government had permitted KMRL Managing Director, Tom Jose, to go to Bangalore for discussions on the project and alleged that Mr Jose was a person who took 'commissions' while Mr Sreedharan was not like that.
Mr Jose refused to comment on the allegation against him.
