Vyalar Ravi meets slain leader Chandrasekharan's family

Kozhikode: Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi visited the family members of Revolutionary Marxist Party leader T P Chandrasekharan, who was killed by unidentified assailants on May 4.

Mr Ravi told reporters that the probe into the killing was moving in the right direction and expressed the confidence that the police would be able to book the culprits at the earliest.

Fifty-year-old Chandrasekharan was attacked by assailants who came by a car when he was riding a motorcycle alone at Vallikkad near Vatakara in Kozhikode. Country-made bombs were reportedly hurled at him and when he fell off the motorcycle, he was attacked with sharp weapons.
