Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had a nasty surprise on Tuesday when she tried to feed a baby elephant fruits at an elephant camp in Mudumalai.
Mudumalai is home to one of the country's biggest wildlife reserves.
The two-year-old calf pushed the Chief Minister, who was amused at first.
But the elephant then gave her a harder shove, and officials scrambled to get it away from the Chief Minister.
She wasn't injured, of course.
She had gone to Mudumalai for a surprise inspection, a press release said.
