Amidst reports of slow progress of Commonwealth Games projects, Dehi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday said all the works would be completed as per schedule and well before commencement of the mega-sporting event next year.
She made the remarks during her visit to Thyagraj stadium here to personally assess the progress of the work at the venue for netball tournament. The stadium is being renovated at Rs 297 crore.
The Chief Minister said all infrastructure projects being developed for the event will have "a green look".
Officials said it would take two months to complete all remaining works in the stadium.
They said the tiles used for construction are fireproof and the stadium would have parking space for 450 vehicles.
