Prague:
Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek will lead the Czech team in the Davis Cup semi-final against Serbia in Belgrade on September 17-19, team captain Jaroslav Navratil said on Monday.
Berdych, the world number seven, and Stepanek (30) will team up for the tie with Jan Hajek (82) and Ivo Minar (202), who led the Czechs to a 4-1 quarter-final victory in Chile in July when Berdych and Stepanek were sidelined with injuries.
Berdych and Stepanek, who both crashed out of the ongoing US Open in the first round, were part of the Czech team that reached the Davis Cup final in 2009, when they were thrashed 5-0 by Spain.
