Berlin: Former tennis great Boris Becker says he sympathizes with Tiger Woods, who is taking an indefinite break from golf after admitting to infidelities.
According to the Bild newspaper, the German said during a taping of the "Beckmann" TV show that will be aired later on Monday that he was surprised by the "dimensions and frequency" of Woods' alleged affairs.
As far as the controversy goes, the 42-year-old Becker says he "experienced the same thing, and can sympathize with him."
Becker has two sons with his former wife, Barbara, and a daughter from a brief relationship with a London-based model. He married Lilly Kerssenberg this year, and they are now expecting a child.
