Chennai stadium's wall collapses amid World Cup rush

Chennai: Hundreds of people were in line at Chennai's Chepauk Stadium this morning to buy tickets for World Cup matches when a wall at the stadium collapsed. Two people were injured.

Chennai is hosting four cricket matches for the World Cup, including India vs West Indies on March 20.

Last week, India faced much embarrassment after Kolkata's Eden Gardens was found to be unfit to host the India vs England game on February 27.

That match has been shifted to Bangalore, while Eden Gardens is trying to ensure it doesn't lose the three other matches it's meant to host.
