Mallorca:
SSP Chowrasia missed the cut by a stroke after turning in a two-over 72 in the second round of the European Tour's Iberdrola Open Cala Millor Mallorca golf tournament here.
After a woeful five-over 75 in the opening round, Chowrasia's combined total stood at seven-over 147.
The 10th tee starter opened his day well with a birdie but a bogey on the 12th pulled him back. He gained a stroke on the 15th but made the turn even-par after dropping a bogey on the 18th.
In the front nine, Chowrasia couldn't manage a single birdie and ended up denting his chances by stumbling to a double bogey on the sixth hole.
South African James Kingston (70) and Swede Pelle Edberg (64) were in the lead jointly at five-under 135.
