Federer becomes World No. 2 in ATP rankings
Paris: Roger Federer is back up to number two in the ATP world rankings despite his straight sets loss to Andy Murray in the final of the Toronto Masters on Sunday.

The Swiss star fell to third behind Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic after losing his Wimbledon crown in July, but he defeated the Serbian player in the semi-finals in Canada.

Nadal, who lost to eventual tournament winner Andy Murray in the semi-finals in Toronto, still holds a handsome lead and is assured of being the top seed for the US Open, the final Grand Slam event of the year, which starts in New York on August 30.
