After an NDTV's expose, that showed black marketing of World Cup final tickets at the Wankhede stadium, Nilesh Kadam, a security guard with Topsgrup has been fired.
Earlier, the BCCI's Ratnakar Shetty had told NDTV that the security personnel involved in black marketing of tickets have been identified following the expose and that the security agency has been asked to register a police complaint.

He was selling the Rs 5000 ticket at a whopping price of Rs 75,000.
In this investigation, NDTV found out that from Rs 50,000 to as high as Rs 1.5 lakh per ticket, it all depends on how much fans are willing to shell out. With just 4,000 tickets for the public from petty touts, to college students, to club members, to even security personnel - everyone is selling tickets in the black market at 10 to 20 times the market rate.
