Shimla: World record holders will get a week's free stay in Himachal Pradesh if they visit during the Commonwealth Games in October, an official said.
"The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation is offering a week's free hospitality to all world record holder players who choose to visit the state during the Oct 3-14 Games," a government spokesperson said.
They will get a taste of traditional Himachali cuisine, he said.
The state plans to woo Games tourists to once British-dominated settlements like Shimla, Dharamsala, Kasauli, Dalhousie, Dharampur, Dagshai and Subathu.
More than 11 million tourists, including 400,583 foreigners, visited the hill state last year.
