London, Islamabad: A new twist in the Pakistan cricket scandal, now Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Legal Adviser Tafa-zzul Rizvi is believed to have said that the three players suspended by the ICC for alleged spot fixing have said that the money found by Scotland Yard in skipper Salman Butt's room, which he had initially claimed was for his sisters trousseau, had come from Mazhar Majeed but it was for sponsorship deals. Also Majeed was their agent, they didn't know he was a bookie, he said.

For now, the Pakistan team's strategy is clear, "don't read the papers especially since the news today is likely to be bad when the News of The World will make another expose". And that's what replacement captain Shahid Afridi has told his boys but he does admit Mazhar Majeed was almost always travelling with the team.
