After six lifters failed dope tests of the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) in a space of 2 months, the Indian Weightlifting Federation is on the verge of getting banned for the third time.
IWF general secretary BN Gulati is presenting India's case to the executive board of the international federation at the World Championships in Korea.
A strong decision is expected against the Indian authorities and their banned lifters. India could well face a penalty but it will be a big jolt to their medal chances at 2010 Commonwealth Games if the beleaguered body is banned.
