Karun Chandhok has been confirmed as the second driver for HRT Formula 1 alongside Bruno Senna of Brazil. He becomes the second Indian after Narain Karthikeyan to enter Formula 1.
Campos is a Spanish team owned by Adrian Campos Suner. Narain Karthikeyan was the first Indian to drive in Formula One in 2005 when he signed for Jordan.
Campos currently only have one driver signed up, Bruno Senna, the nephew of the late three-time world champion Ayrton Senna. Karun has won two GP2 races in the last three years.
