Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dloughy on Tuesday moved into the semifinal of the men's doubles event of the US Open Tennis tournament here.
Paes and Dloughy, seeded fourth, beat seventh seeded Wesley Moodie of Russia and Dick Norman of Belgium 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in the quarter finals at the Flushing Meadows.
Paes and Cara Black of Zimbabwe earlier secured a berth in the semifinal of the mixed doubles category defeating Australian-Swede combination of Rennae Stubbs and Robert Lindstedt 7-5 3-6 10-6 last night.
