Randhawa tied 45th after Round 3 of Volvo China Open

Suzon, China: Seasoned Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa carded a second successive two-under 70 to lie tied 45th after the penultimate round of the Volvo China Open here on Saturday.

Randhawa's three-round total stands at two-under 214 at the Suzhou Jinji Lake Golf Club.

Randhawa played a flawless front nine, that had one birdie on the fifth hole, to make the turn one-under.

A dropped shot on the 11th brought him back to par but he didn't let it slip and picked up birdies on the 14th and 18th to sign off on a positive note.

At the top, Y E Yang (68) grabbed the lead at 14-under overall. A stroke adrift of the Korean were Fin Mikko Ilonen (68) and Jamie Donaldson (69).
