Johannesburg, South Africa:
Caster Semenya has pulled out of a weekend race amid continued questions and speculation about the South African runner's gender.
The South African Press Association quotes Caster Semenya's coach, Michael Seme, as saying she will not take part in the women's 4,000 meters at the national cross country championships in Pretoria on Saturday. Seme had said earlier in the week Semenya would run.
Asked on Friday why she had pulled out Seme said she was "not feeling well."
Overnight reports that testing has determined she has male and female sexual organs triggered outrage in South Africa.
