Indian golfer Shiv Kapur rode on a flawless front-nine to card four-under 68 and take a share of the 14th spot after the opening round of the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Championship here.

A 10th tee starter, Shiv gained shots on the 13th and 15th but a bogey in between meant that he made the turn one-under.
The Delhi pro played out a blemishfree front nine striking birdies on the second, fourth and eighth holes to round off a reasonably good day.
