Suranjoy Singh will lead India's medal hopes in boxing after his Gold medal winning performance during the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. Suranjoy who won the Flyweight gold after getting a walk-over in the final will have to get past the tough Uzbekistan pugilists to win Gold.
The 24-year old boxer from Imphal is a soldier with the Indian Navy. Suranjoy competes in the 51 kg fly weight category. The diminutive pugilist is a livewire inside the ring and is known for his aggressive style.
