New Delhi:
Sushil Kumar is definitely the toast of the nation after becoming the first ever Indian wrestler to win a gold medal at the World Wrestling Championship after his bronze medal winning heroics at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
And now recognition has also come for his coach. Yashvir Singh has become the 1st Indian to win the International Wrestling Federation's 'Coach of the Year' award.
Yashvir was in Moscow with Sushil when he became the first Indian wrestler to clinch a gold in the World Championships earlier this year. The FILA 'Coach of the Year' award will be presented to him in Spain in December this year.
