New Delhi: Forbes is out with its annual list of the 100 most powerful celebrities and look who's the top athlete on that list.
It's Tiger Woods at No 5. His 1 billion dollar worth may have taken a huge hit in the aftermath of the sex scandals but he's still the world's most powerful athlete followed by basket ball stars Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and Lebron James.
Tiger has been in the top five of the Forbes celebrities list for ten straight years, something no other celebrity has ever achieved.
Many of his sponsors cut ties with after his sexual misadventures came out of the cupboard last year. The lost sponsors meant his 2010 earnings were down by at least $30 million, but Woods still made $105 million over the past 12-months and continues to be the world's highest-paid athlete.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather who earned $25 million in his comeback bout last September is at No 28, while World No 2 Roger Federer is at No 29. David Beckham is at No. 36 and is making lucrative deals even when he's off the pitch.
