Protests turn violent in Srinagar, Medical students clash with police

Srinagar: Protests by nursing and para-medical students in Srinagar turned violent today with the students clashing with police.

The students were agitating against the exam results and staged a dharna in front of the Director of Health's office.

Over 7,000 students had appeared for the exams in which more than 5,000 failed.
