Srinagar:
Four people were killed in two separate accidents on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of the state.
A truck, which was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar, skidded off the road and fell into a 200-feet deep gorge on Jammu-Srinagar Highway at Chamalwas in Ramban district early on Tuesday, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Anil Magotra said.
Three people died in the mishap and their bodies have been recovered, he said.
In another mishap, a man identified as Rattan Singh Raj, was crushed to death by truck on the highway at Ramban, he added.
