Srinagar:
Two people were killed and 23 others injured when a passenger bus skidded off the road in Chadoora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday.
The driver of the bus, on its way to Chadoora from Nagam town, lost control over the vehicle and it skidded into the nearby paddy fields, officials said.
Approximately 25 people were injured in the mishap. Two of the injured passengers - Ghulam Mohammad Najar (55) and Ghulam Hassan Malik (45) - succumbed at a hospital in Srinagar while condition of another injured was stated to be critical, they said.
