The body of a four-year-old girl, who had been missing since Sunday, was found in a house in
Pandesara, police said on Tuesday.
Jigisha Rathod's body was recovered from a locked house in Vadod village near Pandesara late on Monday night, they said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, but prima facie there was a possibility of sexual assault and strangulation, police said.
Jigisha went missing on Sunday from Morarji colony in Udhna. According to her parents' complaint, an unidentified person gave some money to Jigisha's elder sister, and sent her away to buy chocolates. When she returned, Jigisha and the man were not there.
