A middle-aged woman was killed in an acid attack at her residence in Salbatpura area of Surat late on Thursday night. Her parents, who also suffered burn injuries in the attack, have been admitted to a local hospital.
According to the police, the woman was reportedly once in a relationship with the alleged attacker, but she severed all ties with him after she got married.
