Machilipatnam: 19 fishermen from Tamil Nadu, whose boats had broken down in the Bay of Bengal, were rescued by locals, marine police said .
Local fishermen from Swaralagondi in Krishna district spotted two boats in the sea last night and brought the stranded fishermen onboard to safety on Swaralagondi coast, Inspector Muralikrishna said.
