Chennai: Aam Aadmi Party is likely to contest the upcoming Assembly election in Tamil Nadu as part of the People's Welfare Front that includes V Gopalsamy-led MDMK and Left parties.
AAP leader Somnath Bharti, who arrived in Chennai for discussions in the party on the strategy in the coming election, indicated this.
Mr Bharti is likely to meet V Gopalsamy later in the day for talks on the issue.
The other parties in the People's Welfare Front include VCK headed by Thiruma Valavin, CPI and CPI(M).
