Tamil Nadu chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today allotted over Rs 150 crore for laying by-pass roads in different parts of the state.
A government release here said that she had allotted Rs152.78 crore towards laying roads at Tenkasi, Sankarankovil, Ambasmuthram, Muthukulathur, Bhavani, Namakkal, Tiruchengode, Cuddalore, Arcot, Tirpuathur and Tiruvannamalai towns.
The proposed projects will help in decongesting road in these towns, it added.
