Chennai:
Flag-Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command Vice Admiral Anil Chopra today called on Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
During his meeting with the Chief Minister various issues relating to naval facilities, infrastructure,coastal security, fishing in international waters and territorial waters and development of naval detachments in Tamil Nadu coast were discussed, an official release said.
He later called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan here,it added.
Chopra, who arrived at Indian Naval Services Adyar here, will leave for naval air station, Indian Naval Services Rajali, at Arakkonam tomorrow.
