Erode: The decomposed carcass of a 12-year-old female elephant was found inside Burgur forest inthe district, forest department officials said.
They said tribals in Chellampalayam forest settlement area noticed the carcass and informed them. A veterinarian who wentalong with a team to the spot and examined it, said the pachyderm had died of natural causes.
