Commemorating Ugadi, the Telugu and Kannada new year, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa greeted Governor K Rosaiah on Saturday.
"On the joyous occasion of Ugadi, I convey my best wishes for a very successful and prosperous new year to you, your wife, and all members of your family", she said in her greetings, sent to Mr Rosaiah along with a floral bouquet, an official release said.
Eighty two-year-old Rosaiah, born in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh prior to being Tamil Nadu Governor, was Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister between September 2009 and November 2010.
