Madurai: Four persons were injured in a clash with members of the All India Station Masters Association (AISMA) here, police said.
They said cases had been registered against seven union members in connection with the clash which occurred yesterday.
Members of one union were protesting against the agitation by All India Station Masters Association, who were staging a demonstration against the recent attack on one of their colleagues while on duty at Melakonnakulam railway station in Sivaganga district and demanding his arrest.
Even as the agitation was on, members of another union attacked the station masters following which the All India Station Masters Association President filed a police complaint.
