Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today left for Kodanadu in the Nilgris District of the state from where she would continue to perform her official duties.
She left for Coimbatore from Chennai in a special flight and landed in the textile city. Soon after, she left for Kodanadu from there by a helicopter, airport sources said.
The Chief Minister would stay at the hill station for a few weeks and continue to carry on with her government work, an official release in Chennai said.
State Ministers and AIADMK functionaries, including O Paneerselvam and party presidium chairman E Madhusudhanan, saw her off at the airport in Chennai.
