Chennai:
Rajashankar, an accused in an alleged land grab case against DMK MLA M K Stalin, appeared before the Central Crime Branch on Thursday. N S Kumar alias N Seshadrikumar had lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Police on November 29, stating that he owned a property on Chitharanjan Das Road, Teynampet.
He further alleged that one Srinivas threatened his tenants to vacate the house and forced him to sell the house for a lesser price of Rs 5, 54, 00,000.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered under various sections against P Venugopal Reddy, M K Stalin, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Raja Shankar, C Subba Reddy (managing director of Ceebros Property) and Srinivas.
On Thursday, Rajashankar appeared before the Central Crime Branch and signed the register as per the directive of the Saidapet court.
