Salem, Tamil Nadu:
A 41-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping his neighbour's minor daughter, police said today.
The man lured the 6-year-old girl to his home when she was alone in her house, after giving her an apple, and sexually harassed her yesterday, police said.
When her parents returned home, she informed them about the incident and they filed a police complaint following which the man was arrested, police said.
He has been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 376 (rape) of IPC. The girl was admitted to a government hospital, police said.
